I didn’t start in design; I started in healthcare. I spent the last four years working as a hospital scientist in pathology, where I saw firsthand how clunky systems and confusing interfaces affect both patients and staff.

Somewhere between processing samples and brainstorming ways to improve laboratory efficiency, I realised what I really cared about was how people experience healthcare, and how much better it could be if design had a seat at the table.

That’s what drew me to UX: I want to bridge that gap by creating tools that make healthcare easier, more intuitive, and more human for the people who use them every day. Now, as a freelance UX designer, I bring that same curiosity and problem-solving mindset into designing digital experiences that make healthcare more human, efficient, and accessible.

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me dancing salsa, crocheting, or getting lost in a creative project. I love anything that challenges my patience, focus, and curiosity!
